Welcome to the Minocqua Area, Northern Wisconsin’s premier vacation and recreation destination and home to Lakeland Aviation of Minocqua! As your Ambassadors to the Northwoods, all of us at Lakeland Aviation want to welcome you to the heart of Lake Country. Our primary goal is to exceed your expectations in everything that we do for you and when you leave us, we want you to feel as though you just reunited with old friends.
Lakeland Aviation of Minocqua is a Full-Service FBO that provides aircraft fueling and maintenance services along with specialized, primary, and advanced flight training. Utilizing aircraft equipped with the most current, industry-standard GPS technology, we strive to train you to proficiency, not just completion. We also offer affordable aircraft and car rentals, heated and unheated hangar space, and catering.

We have developed a unique approach designed to improve the quality of service for both customers and passengers. To achieve that goal, we work closely with each client to better understand the unique challenges involved in their individual needs.
Amenities
Take advantage of our pilot quarters while your customers make use of our luxurious lounging area with access to vending machines, snacks, WiFi, coffee and Direct TV. Meet up in our conference room to discuss your flight itinerary and trip plans. A conference room is available for meetings and flight planning.
Rentals
We offer vehicle and aircraft rentals to help you explore Minocqua and the Wisconsin Northwoods from land or air. A courtesy car is available for errands or sampling a local restaurant while visiting our beautiful area! 3hr time limit
Premium Service
Offering after-hours service, block heater plugins, heated hangar rental, Jet-A w/ additive and 100LL fuel, tie-downs, routine maintenance & More.

FBO Manager
Jesse has enjoyed living in the Lakeland area and being part of the local community for the last 5 years. Prior to joining the Lakeland Aviation team, he has worked 15 years in the building trades & the hospitality industry. He looks forward to continuing the tradition of safe, high-quality service and experience you’ve come to know at Lakeland Aviation.
Mike Tamburrino
FFA Certified Flight Instructor; A&P Mechanic; IA
Whether needing to have routine maintenance and periodic inspections done on your airplane or if you are seeking to receive primary through advanced flight instruction, Mike serves our customers well in his roles of Aircraft & Powerplant Mechanic and as an FAA Certified Flight Instructor.
Being a 15-year employee of Lakeland Aviation, Mike has worked on hundreds of locally-based and transient aircraft as well as personally endorsed dozens of students for their check rides, from their Private through Commercial Pilot Certification. Bryan Warbalow
Line Service Technician
Bryan was a teacher for 33 years and retired in 2007. Over the course of his teaching career, he’s owned and operated multiple businesses locally. He earned his private pilot license in 2004, owned a Cessna 150 for 14 years, and currently owns a hangar at ARV, which is home to his Experimental Amphib/ski plane. He spends a lot of time in his hangar watching the operations of Lakeland Aviation and decided it would be a great experience to be on the flight line.
